The Dynamite Circle hosted a DC BLACK event in Lisbon, Portugal, focused on connection, meaningful work, local culture, and food. This community-led event brought together DC BLACK members from Europe and beyond for a few days of connection and collaboration.
The event kicked off with a relaxed welcome dinner featuring Portuguese-inspired tapas, setting the stage for building connections. The following day included focused work sessions at a coworking space, with time for masterminds and skill-sharing, followed by dinner at a restaurant known for its Portuguese-Mediterranean dishes. A highlight was the final day which featured a culturally rich activity to explore the city.
Local DC BLACK members played a key role in designing the event to showcase Lisbon’s unique charm. The event was created to be unrushed, warm, and intentional, fostering meaningful interactions among attendees. Lisbon was chosen as the location because it’s convenient for members in Europe, blending old-world charm with modern energy, and providing a relaxed atmosphere conducive to forming deep connections.
The event concluded with a relaxed wine tasting paired with tapas, providing a social and conversational atmosphere for attendees to further connect and learn about Portuguese wines. The event was designed to provide a unique experience that could only happen in Lisbon, strengthening the bonds between members.
